AI Model Router (AMR)
Use multiple AI models inside Codex and Claude while keeping the native workflow.
The project
AI Model Router brings models from different providers into Codex and Claude Code, including Claude’s desktop experience. For Claude, a selective interception proxy redirects only marked subagent traffic. The main session keeps its native Anthropic connection, tools, dynamic workflows, Remote Control, and normal Claude subscription usage. A lead agent coordinates the work while selected subagents use their connected provider accounts.
My contribution
I built AMR to make multi-model coding practical in my daily workflow.
- Choose models by capability, speed, and cost for each task
- Route selected subagents without changing Claude’s Anthropic endpoint
- Keep native tools, dynamic workflows, Remote Control, and Claude subscription use
- Install and update the router through a guided macOS setup
